Vivian, I use interns from local colleges and they usually work out great. Try contacting a college’s internship office.

Tim thank you so much! This was wonderfully helpful! I came away with really simple, practical ideas for JustTell. One question, any other suggestions for where to find social media interns? We posted it to Idealist (great resource I’m sure you know!) but no luck so far. Thank you. Vivian

1:What are the requirements for registering a non-profit in the US?
There’s an IRS application and guidelines the organization must meet (e.g., having a board)

2:do you have to keep tracks of all your donations, for the IRS ?
    Yes.

3:lets say that 2 is true, what do you do when someone donates an object?you have to determine it’s value?
We provide a receipt stating that we received the item but leave the value determination to the donor.
