Advice For Web Writing

Many people have thought about writing as a career. It is not an overly hard thing to do, and it is not that much different if you are thinking of writing for the web. There are a few things that people should know when it comes to this and we will look into them now.

First you need to make sure that whatever you are writing is written in easy to read format and style. This will make the article, e-book, or whatever it is that you are writing a lot easier on the readers eyes.

When writing for the web it is important that you make sure that you use information that is pertinent to the topic that you are writing about. Being specific is often the best way to do this. You want to make sure that the writing that you do contains all of the relevant information that the reader needs on the topic.

Lists are a popular thing that people use when they write for the web. It is well known that people read lists as they are easy on the eyes. Many people that read things on the internet do not read every word that is written and are looking for specific information to help them with whatever it may be that they are doing.

Making sure that the grammar that is used when you write for the web is correct. There is nothing worse than reading something that is full of poor grammar. It is one way to get your audience to get the audience to turn and run when they see your writing in the future. This is not what you are aiming for.

Along this note includes punctuation. Being sure that you use the appropriate punctuation is essential. A comma can totally change the meaning of what you are trying to say. Using a web editor of some sort can prove very helpful when it comes to making sure that your writing is grammatically correct.

Titles are what attract people to the things that you write. It does not matter if it is a story, poem, whatever it may be, the title is the first thing that people read. Making this stand out to people will peak their curiosity which will get them to read further into what you have written.

The last bit of advice that I can give you is to follow any instructions that you are given by a client to the letter. If they want a certain font, use what they want. It is far better to take the time and do the project in the manner that is asked then to risk having it rejected and the possibility of getting more down the road gone.

Following the things above can make the dream you have of writing for the web a reality. It takes time and perseverance, but with the effort you can achieve the goals that you have set for yourself.

You can get even more mileage out of writing for the web is you spin your articles.  Article spinning allows you to get a number of unique variations out of one basic seed article.  It is very popular in article marketing.

Professional Article Spinning

Article marketing offers tremendous value for increased traffic and for your search engine optimization efforts. However, if you are not offering each of the article directories to which you submit unique articles, you are not getting full value from your efforts.

Are you aware that you have two alternatives for creating unique submissions for each of your favorite article directories? The most obvious of those is writing a different article for each. That can be extremely time consuming. The second alternative is much more efficient; that is spinning one article to create versions that are sufficiently unique from each other that neither humans nor search engine robots will consider them to be duplicate content.

Some people confuse article spinning with the early, fully automated computer spinners that simply substituted frequenty inappropriate synonyms for some of the words in the article. They often produced copy that read much like a fourth grade student who was just trying to product the number of words that his teacher had assigned him to write a report.

Professional article spinning, while it still employs software, uses a much more “hands-on” approach. The resulting versions are greatly improved.

Spinning an article to create twenty or forty unique articles is much more efficient than writing so many articles from scratch. Writing twenty articles might take an experienced web author between fifteen and twenty hours. However, writing a single article and then preparing it for computerized spinning might take someone who is very experienced at spinning only three to four hours–or even less.

There is a free online article spinner that anyone can use by just registering. When you first register, you will receive a complimentary trial membership to an automatic article directory submission service in which each directory that you submit to (of the hundreds available) will receive a unique version. Once the trial period is finished, you can continue the service for a very low monthly fee.

A fairly new, unique membership service has a built in spinner and then automatically offers a uniquely spun version directly to websites and blogs that are part of the system and within the niche that you specify. That service is called My Article Network. It’s one of the greatest bargains around.

Even with the features of that remarkable service, the preparation of an article for spinning is still very time consuming–perhaps too much so for many article marketers to get full benefit from the network. Now, however, there are professionals who prepare articles for My Article Network spinning at a very reasonable price.

I urge an online business to check into the value added methods of article marketing. You will be amazed at the impact upon both traffic and SEO in a relatively short period of time.

Article Marketing in Order to Search Engine Optimize Your New Mini-Site

Many businesses choose a mini-site to market a niche product or service. If your business hopes to receive long term value from the small site, you need to focus nearly all of your search engine optimization (SEO) efforts on obtaining high value external links, because choosing a smaller site means giving up the inherent advantages of larger sites with a number of internal links pointing toward the most important pages.

There are a variety of ways of obtaining the links that you need, and you should use them all. However, I want to focus your attention on one of the most important of the link building methods. That, of course, is article marketing.

Article marketing offers several advantages for improving your SEO through external links. First, if well done, it allows you to obtain links from a variety of websites who publish your article, and many of the websites will be from unique IP addresses, something that is important to search engine algorithms. Second, article marketing allow you to exert control over the anchor text of those links, and the anchor text (sometimes called “linking” text) is a major way for a search engine to determine the topic of a particular web page. Third, article marketing is quite inexpensive and relatively easy when compared to some of the alternative methods of obtaining high quality links. The ease of the process is largely attributed to the development of specific software to facilitate article marketing.

I average about fifteen articles per week, but I spin those articles so that I actually end up with the equivalent of hundreds of unique articles that I distribute to several article directories (for further distribution) or syndicate directly to individual sites to which I have access. I am able to reach that level of productivity because of two important memberships that I maintain.

One of the membership sites offers a free article spinner, available to anyone. When you first register to use the high quality spinner, you will also receive a free trial membership to an amazing directory submission service that will distribute a unique version of each of your articles to literally hundreds of article directories.

The other membership is to a service that also has a built-in article spinner. This system, though, distributes the uniquely spun article versions directly to niche specific websites (including blogs).

Both approaches have their advantages, which is the reason that I maintain memberships in both. If I had to choose one, I would choose the second, but it’s a very close decision. However, I can belong to both for a monthly fee that is less than I pay for a decent dinner for two in my home town. Consequently, a combination of the two is what I would recommend for use in the SEO efforts for your mini-sites.
